| Damn... I've been out of the loop for a while... Anyway my 21st B-day is coming up, and instead of hiding out like I usually do, I've decided to plan something for a change. New Roc City has this pretty sweet deal I want to take advantage of. I realize that people have probably been there before, but I haven't and I'm dying to go. I've already told a bunch of my co-workers from the zoo, and it looks like the date and time are set for September 17th between 6-10pm. http://www.newroccity.com/<-- directions/info Unlimited video games for 4 hours... Pizza/Soda buffet from 6:30-8pm Unlimited Go-karting Unlimited funhouse attractions...(laser tag!) For $30... not bad. And there's a ton of other stuff to do too. I'm trying to arrange transportation, but I'm pretty sure I'll end up taking metronorth. | Riva here. After some contemplation, I've decided not to have the party this year for two reasons. I originally assumed we were having it at Vernon's sister's place, but I found out she moved so that was impossible and it was up to me to host it. This, however, is impossible. 1. My aunt and uncle have moved in for a couple of months and are currently living in the basement, meaning that room would barred from us and I know you guys would want to play video games. 2. The reason they came was to visit several doctors (since they live in the Philippines and that country doesn't have the best medical care), and my uncle discovered he needs a triple bypass surgery. I don't think dealing with forty or so loud ... uh ... recent teenagers just a mere two weeks after going through something that intense is the best method of recuperation. So that's that, unless you guys can come up with something else. If so, I'm all open to all options. If not, then look forward to next year! | | |
